How I collect, use and protect your personal information.
Last updated: October 2026
Ming Dampulay ("I", "me" or "my") respects your privacy. This policy explains how I collect, use, share and protect personal information through mingdampulay.com and when you contact me for mortgage, insurance, investment or retirement services. I handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
This website does not ask for your Social Insurance Number, banking details or identity documents. Mortgage applications are completed through my brokerage's secure application, and insurance applications through the insurer's secure process.
I only send you marketing emails or texts if you have given consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, by replying STOP to any text, or by contacting me. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages about an appointment or service you have asked for.
I do not sell your personal information. I only share it when needed to provide the services you ask for, or when required by law, for example with:
Some service providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
This website uses cookies and similar tools to make forms and booking work, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly.
I use reasonable physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to protect your information. I keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law and my regulators, and then securely delete it.
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contractual limits. Contact me using the details below and I will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with my response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page, with the date it was last updated.
